Paving the Way 2026 - Completed 6/9/2026

Street paving operations are scheduled to begin on June 3, 2026, weather permitting, with work performed by contractor C.J. Miller, LLC. The streets listed below are included in this year’s project.

Streets included in this project:

• 1st - Souder Road

• 2nd - West J Street — from House No. 19 to the dead end

• 3rd - Pickett Alley

• 4th - North Delaware Avenue — from West B Street to Potomac Street

What to Expect

Residents in these areas should anticipate:

• Temporary traffic disruptions and lane closures
• On-street parking will not be permitted on streets scheduled for paving. “No Parking” signs will be posted in advance. Please remove all vehicles during the posted times so work can proceed safely. We encourage residents to plan ahead and make alternative parking arrangements to ensure access to your vehicle during paving operations.
• Construction equipment and crews throughout the project area

Streets will be paved in the following order: Souder Road, West J Street, Pickett Alley, and North Delaware Avenue. For the latest updates, visit brunswickmd.gov and navigate to Residents → Project Dashboard for the latest updates.
