Mission

The Youth Advisory Committee is a group of young people who represent the voice and issues of the youth in Brunswick.  Working together with the Mayor and City Council, the Youth Advisory Council will create opportunities, events, and activities that inspire our community in a positive way.

 

Membership

The Youth Advisory Committee will consists of seven "voting" members enrolled in or entering grades 9-12, and five "non-voting" adult members who are affiliated with organizations that provide services to children or youth in Brunswick, including one City Council liaison.  All members must live within Brunswick High School boundaries.  Terms of office are yearly with eligibility until high school graduation.
