Outdoor Recreation

Outdoor recreation is a major part of Brunswick’s identity. The natural resources that are located in our city create opportunities to promote outdoor recreation  in order to stimulate economic development and enhance quality of life. In 2024, the city was selected to participate in the Recreation Economy for Rural Communities (RERC) program. Agency professionals from the state and across the US joined the city to develop an action plan to amplify community connections to Brunswick’s outdoor recreation opportunities.

But there is so much more—new parks, renovated parks, trail connections, and amenities come together to encourage everyone to Live, Work, and Play in Brunswick!
